What is Crushed / Recycled Concrete?
Crushed concrete is also called Recycled Concrete / Concrete Aggregate. It is made up of concrete/asphalt debris from demolished construction projects that can be crushed into smaller size and reused to create driveways, pathways, flower beds, kitchen beds, garden beds, patio, retaining wall and more. When any existing concrete building, road, sidewalk, parking lot or foundation is demolished, that waste concrete is usually deposited in a landfill. Concrete is non bio-degradable and would not decompose. The waste leftover concrete is crushed down to specific sizes, cleaned so that unwanted debris is removed from the mixture, and reused as a solution to a number of construction and landscaping projects.
